Over the past couple of months, Verdis has received extensive media coverage on large news outlets such as NBC, The Guardian, Radar, Fox News, and more. This publicity has put a massive amount of pressure on Croatia to release their illegal blockade, but they have ignored every attempt of contact from journalists.
The photo in this post shows Croatian authorities illegally stationed in Verdis circling around moments before they attempted to ram a boat filled with journalists and the Foreign Minister of Verdis in early September, which we have released a statement about on the government portal. The photo was taken by Radar, who posted an article about the events yesterday.
As a result of the publicity, we have raised tens of thousands of Euros through the e-Residency program, processing fees, and crowdfunding. This has allowed us to make massive advancements in nationbuilding, providing digital services, and technology for more secure documents.
We need your help to keep this awareness going, so that we can continue to pressure Croatia to respect international law, and Verdis’ territorial integrity. We want to ask supporters to post about Verdis through social media, whether thats on Reddit, X (Twitter), Facebook, or other socials. It only takes a few moments and right now is a really important time in Verdis’ nationbuilding, as we have recently made more progress than ever before.
